knitr

Emmes Corporation (@EmmesCorp; 2/1): Emmes’ #Bioinformatics Director Johannes Goll is leading a workshop at @bioitworld next month, ‘Introduction to Scalable & Reproducible RNA-SEQ Data Processing, Analysis, & Result Reporting Using AWS, R, knitr, & LaTeX.’ Interested? More info here https://t.co/2LrvNpihlj #BioIT18

Jesper L. Andersen (@jlouis666; 2/0): @kellabyte https://t.co/La8NZOgaUs this is probably better at explaining than I am. It is somewhat in the pandoc area like @anne_biene says. But also draws inspiration from literate programming (e.g., Knuth’s (C)WEB, weave/tangle, etc)

Steph Locke (@SteffLocke; 2/0): @SuzanBaert iirc, when I had to do this, I used --- to denote a new slide

Another workaround might be to generate all the files then create a loop that does per file a knitr::include_graphic() and a page break

Ingo Rohlfing (@ingorohlfing; 2/0): Good Q. I always override the global setting with the chunk-specific setting, but this would be much more convenient #knitr https://t.co/NYKSrrwVhS

Jesper L. Andersen (@jlouis666; 1/0): @kellabyte Ggplot2 and knitr are really good tools.

Shravan Vasishth (@shravanvasishth; 1/0): Is there a way to say in knitr+latex that include=FALSE for all chunks (in global settings) but if we have a figure chunk, include=TRUE?

Kelly Sommers (@kellabyte; 0/0): @jlouis666 What does knitr do?

xaringan

David Keyes (@dgkeyes; 1/0): @apreshill Ok, all good reasons. I’m developing a presentation now and debating various options. I’m going to give xaringan a shot.

David Keyes (@dgkeyes; 1/0): @apreshill I enjoyed reading about your use of xaringan for presentations. Any particular reasons you like this over other RMarkdown presentation formats (slidy, beamer, iosslides, etc)?

RPubs recent entry (@RPubsRecent; 0/0): Sample Xaringan https://t.co/3oR0UYaYUf

Brandon Hurr (@bhive01; 0/0): @SuzanBaert I’m thinking of Xaringan here. Not beamer. You’re right on the # for beamer.
