Yihui Xie (@xieyihui; 3/1): @cantabile @JenRichmondPhD @thejholloway @JennyBryan Yes: blogdown::build_site() (re-)renders everything, and blogdown::serve_site() only renders the page that you are modifying. ↪
Ken Njogu (@njogukennly; 2/1): After attending an interview yesterday and seeing how the panel was interested in viewing my portfolio of work, it is time I have a website.
Last time I checked blogdown, I found it to be quite technical
Any pointers? #rstats

Charles T. Gray (@cantabile; 1/0): @JenRichmondPhD @thejholloway @JennyBryan Yup - @xieyihui’s blogdown::build_site seems to ensure that the page updates. I don’t think it automatically updates with blogdown::serve_site unless I’m working on the page. Is that how it works, @xieyihui? Agreed, blogdown - so cool! ↪
Dr. Alison Hill (@apreshill; 1/0): @old_man_chester @hadleywickham @hspter yes through the magic of #blogdown draft = TRUE all materials were saved in my great laptop meltdown of 2018 https://t.co/mzhdnv2eX6 ↪
𝚃𝚘𝚖𝚊 𝙽𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛 (@TomaNistor; 0/0): @danywing Hey Daniel! I’m not familiar with Rstudio or Blogdown - how are you using these with Hugo? Do you have any trouble getting set up with other Hugo themes? Based on just the screenshot, it looks like external stylesheet and possibly the external js assets are missing. ↪
Taras Kaduk (@taraskaduk; 0/0): @gvwilson If only from a learner’s perspective! I don’t use git for work or with anyone, my only experience is mainly around deploying my blogdown site, which is a linear git add -A commit push. I’d like to learn best practices, and sub-anythings sounded scary… ↪
Daniel Wing (@danywing; 0/0): .@TomaNistor hi! I have exhausted my personal resources so I dare to write to you. Using Rstudio and Blogdown I am having issues using Osprey. I serve the site and looks like this. Any help you can provide? :( https://t.co/dYVwZxeRJv ↪
ChaDamSaiNom (@ocha_lab; 0/0): blogdownもいいけれど、htmlを適当に書き散らかして昔通りにシンプルなサイトをつくったほうが楽な気がするきょうこのごろ。 ↪
