blogdown
Dr Jenna Zhao (@jennalzhao; 6/0): Created half a website in 60 minutes using #rstats today. Structured procrastination at its finest.
Also blogdown is such magic ✨✨ ↪
Elio Campitelli (@d_olivaw; 2/0): @TuQmano @renbaires Fijate acá https://t.co/z4GPI32fvA ↪
nmonhait (@nmonhait1; 1/0): Tonight I’ll embark on a journey into R blogdown as a way to start producing some content ↪
John Gayler (@jwgayler; 0/0): Is it possible to password protect a blogdown blog for internal company use? #rstats ↪
Termino rompiendo luego. ↪
Josh Sawyer (@joshpsawyer; 0/0): how many weeks have I wasted on deploying websites? I’m speaking to the choir but @Netlify + @rstudio + #blogdown is a real treat ↪
bookdown
Rick Tankard (@RickTankard; 4/1): Next up, @RachaelLappan. Some of her favourite R packages include metagenomeSeq, superheat (nice heatmaps, I should look into it) and Bookdown (I think she is writing her thesis in this?)
@rladiesperth ↪
Elio Campitelli (@d_olivaw; 2/0): @TuQmano @renbaires Fijate acá https://t.co/z4GPI32fvA ↪
Thea Knowles (@theaknowles; 0/0): @JMVaisberg @jclau_ca @WesternU @xieyihui @LucyStats Yes and no; most of it is pretty seamless with bookdown. You don’t even need a template (@LucyStats’s & others’ tutorials include a whole working example you can download and start using as is); but we do have a .tex template for UWO so might as well use it. ↪
knitr
David Darmofal (@david_darmofal; 2/0): @cskovron You could use knitr :) ↪
Joseph Casillas (@jvcasill; 1/0): @martonbartok @ICPhS2019 Try the answer shown here: https://t.co/2p3AGZzBxi
I’ll update the repo this evening, but this should work for you. ↪
CRAN Package Updates (@CRANberriesFeed; 0/0): CRAN updates: drake knitr https://t.co/y5W2NTKSXT #rstats ↪
Jared Knowles 📈 (@jknowles; 0/0): I should have known @xieyihui solved this problem of Oxford commas and lists in R for character values long before I thought to set out to do it. Another great #rstats find: https://t.co/XGkxigQ2Kf ↪
Jared Knowles 📈 (@jknowles; 0/0): Child documents in knitr/rmarkdown/Sweave is really so cool. Why haven’t I used this before? #rstats ↪
R-Ladies Gainesville (@RLadiesGNV; 0/0): @Hao_and_Y @DinaKla @fmbrewing #knitr away, just wear an ugly sweater while you do it! ↪
Sou (@kscscr; 0/0): knitrをしたら、これまで入力した文字部分が全て消えて、実行できなかったコードだけが残った ↪
xaringan
Toju (@TojYouSo; 1/0): @dmi3k Thanks for letting me speak! I really enjoyed it 😁. Will upload the slides later this week once I figure out how to put Xaringan slides on GitHub 🧐 ↪
Anton Shirikov (@AntonShirikov; 0/1): @mikedecr I had a problem with font size in MathJax when working on xaringan slides, and I tweaked the class .mjx-chtml, as suggested here https://t.co/Z76ccKyIOJ. I think you can change font-family in the same way (and include more fonts from, say, Google Fonts via the custom CSS file) ↪
Michael DeCrescenzo (@mikedecr; 0/0): MathJax has some additional fonts, but how do I get them into an R Markdown document? Anybody have luck with this? #rstats #xaringan ↪
