Meghan Hall (@MeghanMHall; 114/14): I recently made html slides with @quarto_pub for the first time (although it felt a little like I was betraying xaringan…) and wrote up some of the things I learned making the switch from R Markdown to Quarto! https://t.co/b4c5tL4Wxw ↪

Charles Lanfear (@cclanfear; 3/0): Fantastic. I long assumed I was the only one needing/using a complicated multiformat Xaringan slide converter so I’d homebrewed it. Next course I run I will replace my clunk with this beauty. https://t.co/W2NOQGN2G7 ↪
Scout Leonard (@scoutcleonard; 3/0): @minebocek thank you for the awesome @StanfordData DSSG talk about #Quarto today! 🥳I am really excited to try the Revealjs presentations and compare to Xaringan! Quarto is so COOL! ↪
Daniel Vaulot 🇺🇦🇪🇺 (@daniel_vaulot; 1/0): @ShineOfColors @sergeykarayev It is much better and easier to organize and modify templates than pptx. Compared to Xaringan that I use a lot, it is easier for complex image composition. The catch is that you have to save as pdf. ↪
Lucio Cornejo (@lucio_Cornejo; 1/0): @statsgen Thanks!
I use R in VS Code, I didn’t know about such tick in RStudio.
Now that I’ve tried it, the reveal.js slide updates don’t trigger as I type in its qmd file (unlike xaringan::inf_mr ).
I have to save for the update to trigger; but I can live with it :) ↪
