Over 30 years ago, when I was doing graphics with #SAS, I imagined traveling in color space and computing meaningful palettes. I ranted that:

Libby Heeren (@libbyheeren.bsky.social; 19/4/1; 2025-10-17): I don’t really have favorites (I contain multitudes), and until i saw @christophmolnar.bsky.social ask this funny question, I don’t think I’d realized how enamored I am of SVMs. They’re just so beautiful, especially radial SVM.
Also on my list of loves: KNN!

John Harrold (@abumirchi.com; 9/3/1; 2025-10-18): There’s a lot of good #rstats advice here. I try to use the pkg::function method. Though it can become tedious. For example if you’re using dplyr and you want to use dplyr or tidyr functions within commands they can get unwieldy. Like dplyr::select(dplyr::allof(xx)). ↪
