  • 2018/03/10 Thanks to the assistance of @davidjbarney, the Stata guide for my course on survey data analysis is now easily accessible online. Hope some folks find it useful. https://t.co/pZkD85N7Hv
  • 2018/03/09 oh my GOODNESS, look at all these different statistical analyses worked out and explained with code ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿค“ #rstats ! bookdown! SEM! Hierarchical models! https://t.co/w33yCtEVAs https://t.co/b9GoR9nTR6
  • 2018/03/08 Days like today make me love my python -> R -> knitr -> LaTeX workflow. I had a data problem early on in the pipeline. Once fixed, the results flowed all the way through analysis and plotting. #reproducibilityFTW
  • 2018/03/07 ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸซDid you know you can use the #rstats #rmarkdown to blend #python, #rstats, & #sql in #revealjs ๐ŸŽž๏ธ, #blogdown ๐Ÿ“œ, and #bookdown ๐Ÿ“•? You don’t have to write R to make use of rmarkdown! Get your Windows python env configured with this post: https://t.co/tTWmuGdzVB

  • 2018/03/05 New home for my #rstats blog! Check it out and read my (updated) post on how to build your own blog with @github and #blogdown https://t.co/oS1wNqL3gs
  • 2018/03/04 I wrote a post about getting myself from 0 to slide deck in #xaringan using the great resources out there, hopefully this helps others! https://t.co/FwbZBQDAPu (The code snippets donโ€™t scroll in mobile, I think…but the slides seem to render - at least on iPhone) #rstats https://t.co/f29TnRPxYK
  • 2018/03/03 Multiple lags with tidy evaluation โ€ผ๏ธ Finally took the ๐Ÿ•˜:๐Ÿ•“ to #blogdown about it (with a bit of extra motivation from @dataandmeโ€™s late discovery of an earlier post), inspired from aโ“ from @drsimonj on ๐Ÿค during #rstudioconf https://t.co/LeDVWvLRve https://t.co/xbcFT6TTj4
  • 2018/03/02 Are you an #RStats and #Neo4J user? Then, you’re gonna like this package ;) {rmd4j} is a knitr engine that allows to call neo4j commands inside an RMarkdown document ! Feedback (and PR) welcome! https://t.co/h8uFLq0WO2 https://t.co/VHn22T0I1r
  • 2018/03/01 For anyone who hasn’t ๐Ÿ‘€, the blogdown demo site is a must-visit! ๐Ÿ‘ @xieyihui , @apreshill @ProQuesAsker “A minimal example website using blogdown” https://t.co/vOpBKNIDfU #rstats #blogdown https://t.co/v8G77elKdc
  • 2018/02/28 I figured out how to make #rstats Bookdown slip an existing PDF document into my PDF render. Thank you @xieyihui for a fancy tool! Yeah, I’ll end up wrapping some R code around the includepdf syntax later. https://t.co/AB4MYCITYB

  • 2018/02/24 Tentatively starting a blog (Thanks #blogdown for making it so easy!), with initial post on using javascript in r markdown via the javascript knitr engine: https://t.co/NLmngXaRWA
  • 2018/02/23 [Been there, done that] If you are building a #Docker running some #RStats code, this blogpost by @xieyihui might come handy from time to time : https://t.co/0nFdJ2OT98 https://t.co/ehKQxGuPay
  • 2018/02/22 @romain_francois @kevin_ushey I expressed pretty much the same feeling in the comment to Kevin’s post. UTF8 everywhere will save us from a hell of trouble. Go does it. Pandoc does it. My biggest regret in knitr was the encoding argument. I really shouldn’t have provided it.
  • 2018/02/21 The GitHub version (5.0.1.9002) of the drake #rstats package now has much-improved interface for dealing with file targets and dependencies. No more awkward single quotes required! Use: - file_input() - file_output() - knitr_input() https://t.co/XkGYd5WIfa https://t.co/33GfudJjg1
